A very old Restaurant that is still owned by the same Chinese family. Golden Sea is the most ideal Chinese restaurant near the central location of Guam.
The food is good, has flavor in most of the protein choices. Probably lacking spices though. It can be sweet, salty, sour, but lack of that Chinese spice.
I would recommend Chaos or VIP over this restaurant but what makes this place a go to is the pricing. It is affordable to bring the family and also share your choice of food because of how much they give.
Something they need to improve the restaurant is renovating. It is a Chinese vibe but from the early 2000. -

Ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Was kind of disappointed it was only 6 shrimp which usually most restaurants put 8 or 10 pieces. It was pretty good and the flavor was there. They gave us a complimentary egg drop soup which helped fill me up on account of the quantity. 3 stars because they need more common stuff on their menu like spring rolls and more shrimp

Golden Sea - Convenient location for those in Central area. Tasty authentic Chinese food. & don't forget to order their egg-drop soup. It's delicious. Staff is okay. I believe it's family-owned. Interior could use some updating, but overall food is great.

Service was slow and there was only one other couple dining in. Shrimp Egg Fu Yung is good. Mongolian Beef had way too much veggies compared to meat. Decent food for a good price, though. All orders come with rice, soup, and ice cream.

The food is pretty flavorful. I LOVE their honey walnut shrimp and kangkung dishes. It's delish! The service could be improved though. They can be pretty impatient and rude when they take orders. Also, if you go after the lunch time rush and before the dinner rush (between 2pm-4pm), it's HOT. They shut off the AC. Eh.
Oh and sometimes you see people sleeping on one of the round tables. It's kind of unappetizing when you see dirty feet while you're eating. Eh idk.
The place could be better if some things were changed.
